    Our country is entering its 250th anniversary and to commemorate the occasion, I would like to acknowledge how you can use your creativity to create a better country for all. It is important to talk about how everything throughout history isn't perfect, but one must learn from past mistakes. So, try to discuss that if somebody feels nostalgic, you can still have that warm feeling, yet use these skills to improve what went wrong back then.

    If you want to use a pop culture character, regardless of generation, note that you don't have to include everyone. Some characters do age better than others, don't try to overwhelm yourself on which characters to use. In other words, every person is different and you aren't going to please everyone.

    Remember that learning Kindness should begin at a young age, so try to teach as early as possible. Not to mention teaching the benefits of empathy, especially during hard times.  There are many ways to teach kids the benefits of Kindness, and leading by example is the best way.     One important aspect for our country's history is paying tribute to our community heroes and there is no better way to do it than with the creativity of animation. Whether they be first responders, healthcare workers, educators and more, giving back to these heroes is a core trait of honoring the 250th anniversary if our country. Some tributes can consist of artwork of your favorite animated characters paying tribute to schools, hospitals and other key community essentials with visits from said characters. Other tributes showcase brand-new children's books based on live-action television shows that encourage young readers on caring for your community.

    If you grew up in the 80's and early 90's, then you would remember Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue. As follow ups, your favorite cartoon characters reunite alongside newer shows to help children of all ages acknowledge that you are a community hero in your own right by helping out the vulnerable and standing up for what is right for everyone. In other words, everyone belongs in a community, regardless of differences.

Turner Classic Movies helps bring back memories with an all-star movie marathon themed that pays tribute to our military heroes throughout the decades. Not to mention classic cartoons if one wants to relive childhood memories and get through difficult historical times. To clarify, every part of history has its ups and downs, but we should always learn from the past to create a better future. Kindness to our community heroes will always be rewarded with great gratitude at home and abroad.

    In honor of Father's Day, Kindness is always the key for honoring the dads and father figures out there.

Disney Summertime Kindness Special

    When it comes to summer celebrations, nobody does it better than Disney, especially with the country celebrating its 250th anniversary. One important key factor for a good summertime treat is to showcase Kindness towards yourself and others. To prove this point, Disney can create a new cause that helps their fans acknowledge that everyone deserves to appreciate each other's differences. Join Mickey Mouse and his friends as they tell newly created stories that encourages that there is more to magic than what meets the eye. Some stories would feature characters from Disney Animated Films, including PIXAR, on topics like environmental care, cultural appreciation and much more. Others showcase that we can still get along even if we have different tastes in Disney media.

    Be sure to look out for a similar cause focusing on Jim Henson's Muppets that helps discover that we can learn more about ourselves and knowledge, regardless of age groups. Not to mention that our flaws teach us to grow stronger if we overcome them in a diplomatic manner. No matter what life brings us, Kindness towards one another will always be timeless.

    World Environment and Oceans Day may be over, but one should always acknowledge the importance of caring for our planet year-round. 

NBA-NHL Championship Kindness 2026

    With the championships of both the NBA and NHL underway, always understand that win or lose, Kindness will always be the key for a good game. While winning the NBA Championship Trophy or the NHL Stanley Cup have their merits, good sportsmanship, prioritizing health and doing good for the community create true champions. Don't worry about being perfect, focus on doing a good job and have fun. Being there for yourself and teammates is all the importance you need. Kindness will always score a basket or goal if you really put your mind into it.

Kindness in Media 2026

    When it comes to media, remember to understand that there will always be ups and downs throughout the years. You don't have to like everything that they put out there, but one should be courteous when discussing opinions. Try to focus on the creative aspects of your favorite films and television shows and not the corporate perspectives.

    Whenever you do create with your childhood icons or those for the current generation, acknowledge that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel if you put your mind into it. In other words, think about positive ways to handle conflicts and difficult situations. Not to mention focus on stories that will help create a better society for everyone.

    Another important tool is that any form of media deserves to coexist with one another, whether it be physical or streaming. You can't change the past or always predict the future but always learn from history and acknowledge that the present is a good opportunity to solve problems. If you want to enjoy yourself, let go of things you can't control and know that there will always be good people in the world.
