Our country is entering its 250th anniversary and to commemorate the occasion, I would like to acknowledge how you can use your creativity to create a better country for all. It is important to talk about how everything throughout history isn't perfect, but one must learn from past mistakes. So, try to discuss that if somebody feels nostalgic, you can still have that warm feeling, yet use these skills to improve what went wrong back then.
If you want to use a pop culture character, regardless of generation, note that you don't have to include everyone. Some characters do age better than others, don't try to overwhelm yourself on which characters to use. In other words, every person is different and you aren't going to please everyone.
Remember that learning Kindness should begin at a young age, so try to teach as early as possible. Not to mention teaching the benefits of empathy, especially during hard times. There are many ways to teach kids the benefits of Kindness, and leading by example is the best way. Have a Happy Independence Day and may your 4th be filled with love.
