Back to School Kindness 2023

Always start the school season with Kindness, no matter what you learn. To prove this point, schools across the nation could create a series of Kindness themed events to benefit those in need, at home or abroad. Some events can feature donation drives to benefit the less fortunate, whether it be books, school supplies, clothing, food or more. Others would showcase newly created specials starring your favorite characters whether it be on screens or books, among others. Here are some examples of these specials:

For preschoolers & those in the younger grades, witness new stories starring Sesame Street & Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood characters on how schools could help those in need. Little Golden Books publishes new books starring friends from Disney or other Pop Culture brands in which the child characters discover how schools are essential to one's community, even if it can be frustrating. Crayola's Crayon Crew & the gang from Dr. Seuss team up for coloring kits & activities that would help schools in need. Not to mention tie in stories with these characters as well. Be sure to look out for Artwork from Eric Carle to teach children the how art can make a huge impact at a young age, especially when its autumn themed.

Your favorite Book Publishers host a series of Book Fairs that would be held at various schools throughout the year. See stories on how both classic & new characters created a positive impact throughout the decades. Not to mention the importance of books for older students can be just as essential as the younger ones.

Speaking of Older Grades, there can be similar specials & books that would be geared towards them. First, Charlie Brown, Snoopy & the Peanuts Gang discover that there is more than what meets the eye, with help from Franklin & some new neighbors. Garfield & his Friends prove that schools deserve to have fun moments as well, as long as it encourages Kindness. The residents of Fraggle Rock find out that everybody learns differently, especially if they have a disability. Finally, Alvin & the Chipmunks learn that the Arts Programs deserve to be recognized, especially if they embrace one's talent.

Witness all of your favorite Schoolhouse Music Videos old & new done by your favorite music artists classic & modern. These could definitely be essential to students of all ages & grades to both learn & have fun, as well as to appreciate the music program.

All specials can be partnered with your favorite educational resources, whether it be PBS, DK Books, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Discovery, Hearst Media Production Group & others. Not to mention Barnes & Noble & small/local Bookstores as well.
