Younger Children discover from the Crayola Crayon characters, Sesame Street Muppets & Dr. Seuss pals that something that would seem haunted on the outside may actually be very friendly. Not to mention that everybody celebrates the spooky season in their own way, especially around the world.
For older kids, your favorite childhood characters are back in whole new stories. First, the Peanuts Gang learn that everybody celebrates Halloween differently & there nothing wrong with the Legend of the Great Pumpkin. Next, Garfield & Odie visit a haunted house compete to see either Cats or Dogs are the bravest, only to discover that both species of pets need each other & not to judge a book by its cover, especially when helping Creatures of the Night. Finally, Alvin & the Chipmunks perform famous Halloween tunes while trying to save their Halloween party from a group of paranoid parents, with help from the Chipettes.
Be sure to look out for some Kindness themed Halloween specials from your favorite educational brands as well, whether it be on television or books. Barnes & Noble proves that Kindness is the best way to kick off the Spooky season.
