Whenever you go on social media, always try to follow your own path when it comes to having different interests. In other words, you don't have to agree with everything you hear online, as long as you use common courtesy. Not to mention being aware of those you follow online. When you do use an internet resource, use a person who gives an honest opinion, yet respects other opinions as well. One important factor is to never find easy solutions to complicated situations. If you see something that you feel isn't right or hurts others, ask someone you know on what you can do to help. A little act of Kindness can create a huge spark, even if one doesn't see it at first.
