The NBA and NHL Championships are coming up and good sportsmanship should always be a top priority alongside playing strong. To prove this point, the NBA and NHL can team up for a series of events that proves how Kindness benefits both athletes and fans alike. Some events would feature donation drives during matches that benefit those in need both at home and around the world. Others consist of bringing awareness towards causes like environmental care, social inclusion and more at various schools, community centers and other locations.
Be sure to look out for appearances from not only team mascots and cheer/dance squads, but also stories from WNBA and Women's Hockey players as well. In other words, understand that athletes deserve to be viewed as human beings and treated with care during tough matches. Kindness in both Basketball and Hockey will always score a goal with empathy.
